Affiliate Fraud Analyst
Malta

Affiliate Fraud Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, identifying, and mitigating fraudulent activities within the affiliate marketing ecosystem. This role involves analyzing traffic patterns, detecting anomalies, and implementing measures to prevent fraud.

Affiliate Fraud Analyst will work closely with the affiliate team, PRF team and other departments to ensure the integrity and profitability of affiliate marketing programs.

What we expect of you?
  • Conduct proactive checks to prevent affiliate fraud and bonus abuse.
  • Use analytical tools and techniques to detect patterns of fraudulent behavior.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and potential fraud indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Payments, Risk & Fraud team about new patterns and escalate cases to the Payments and Fraud team for confiscation or review. 
  • Answer to escalations from the PRF team regarding affiliate traffic.
  • Communicate and report suspicious activity to the Affiliate Team involving the Head of Affiliates, and Head of Payments & Risk and Fraud, if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with external partners and affiliates regarding fraud-related issues.
  • Advise improvements to the internal systems, reporting and processes focused on affiliate  fraud and bonus abuse.
  • Work with finance reports to check traffic from Low Quality Partners for possible fraud.
  • Support and collaborate with the Affiliate team to ensure alignment on fraud prevention strategies.
  • Any other duties which may reasonably be assigned to or vested in the Employee by the  Company from time to time. 
What we’re after
  • 1-2 years of experience in Fraud Analysis, Payments, Risk Management, or a similar role, preferably within the affiliate marketing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and mitigating fraud.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools and software, as well as proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Proven experience in fraud analysis, preferably within the affiliate marketing industry.
  • Knowledge of affiliate marketing models and digital marketing analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and stay updated with the latest trends in fraud detection and prevention.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the affiliate marketing landscape and common fraud schemes.
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with affiliate management platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Certifications in fraud detection or related fields are considered a plus.
